OUR EXTERIOR PAINTING PROCESS

1

Pressure Wash

We typically begin by pressure washing exterior surfaces to remove dirt, buildup, and loose debris.

2

Repairs

Necessary repairs are made before the application process begins, based on the approved estimate and project scope.

3

Prep & Protect

We caulk, scrape or sand loose and flaking paint as needed, cover areas not being painted, and protect landscaping.

4

Paint & Walkthrough

We apply materials with care, maintain jobsite protection, and review the finished details with the client.

PREPARATION MATTERS

Exterior painting is only as strong as the preparation behind it. We typically pressure wash first, make necessary repairs, then complete the needed prep work before application begins. This may include caulking, scraping or sanding loose and flaking paint, covering areas not being painted, and protecting landscaping.

Because every project is different, all preparation steps, repairs, materials, and exclusions should be confirmed by the approved estimate and contract for that specific job.

Scraping & Sanding

Loose, peeling, or flaking paint is scraped and sanded as needed to help create a cleaner surface for paint application.

Caulking

Gaps and seams are caulked where appropriate to help protect the surface and improve the finished appearance.

Landscape Protection

We take care to protect landscaping, nearby surfaces, and areas that are not being painted during the project.

Surface Repairs

Repairs may include wood replacement, damaged siding areas, trim, fascia, soffit, or other areas outlined in the estimate.

Covering & Masking

Windows, fixtures, concrete, and other areas not being painted are covered or masked as needed before application begins.

Project Scope

Each project is handled according to the approved estimate, contract, materials, and preparation details for that specific job.

Important note: Preparation steps and repairs may vary by project and are based on the approved estimate, contract, surface condition, and agreed-upon scope of work. Please refer to your estimate and contract for the specific services, preparation, repairs, materials, and exclusions included with your project. Website descriptions are general examples of our process and do not replace the written estimate or contract.
